With the BMW X6 M50d confirmed as on its way, we now get news on its performance and economy. We’ve been reporting the likelihood that BMW will drop their new three stage turbo diesel in to the X6 for a long time now, and that’s a racing certainty after BMW teased what is almost certainly the X6 M50d this week with a video. Another quirky Suzuki is on the way – the Splash – a small car with a big interior. The five-door is a rival for petite but practical hatches like Honda's Jazz. Unveiled at the Paris show, the Splash will go on UK sale at the end of 2007.
And there was us thinking those pretty LEDs at the front end of recent Audis (and others) where just a bit of bling. It transpires that the new V10 version of the Audi R8 is to be the first car in the world to be fitted with LED headlights. So what, you may say?
